About Us

Singapore Museum Services was formed by Robin Blackburn, a Singapore Permanent Resident originally from the UK. Having worked with collections for nearly a decade at some of the biggest museums in the UK, including the Imperial War Museum, he then moved to Singapore 5 years ago.

In addition to a degree in History from Southampton University (UK), Robin also has a post-graduate diploma in Museum Studies from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne (UK).

And he is, of course, an enthusiastic collector himself, particularly of music CDs!
